The Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) - is creating virtual humans based on data (biological, imaging, clinical, genomic) from actual patients.

The aim is to improve the understanding of human physiology and pathology and, thereby, to develop and test new therapies.

The VPH Network of Excellence (VPH NoE) is designed to foster, harmonise and integrate pan-European research in the field of patient-specific computer models for personalised and predictive healthcare and ICT-based tools for modelling and simulation of human physiology and disease-related processes.
